Application Fields of Tubular Ultrafiltration Membrane for Leachate

The Tubular Ultrafiltration Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) process is a novel water treatment technology that combines membrane separation technology with traditional biochemical methods. Its greatest advantage is the significant increase in the upper limit of activated sludge concentration in the biochemical system through the complete retention of active microorganisms, while ensuring stable water quality in the system's effluent.

The ultrafiltration membrane element of the MBR system has a filtration pore size of 0.03μm, which can effectively intercept all microbial cells and suspended solids. Additionally, the ultrafiltration system can retain large particles of organic pollutants, further ensuring the stability of the MBR system's effluent. This ultrafiltration system adopts a high-flow and high-speed circulation method, with a hydraulic flow rate within the membrane tube reaching 3 to 5 m/s, effectively preventing the deposition of pollutants, reducing the risk of membrane fouling, and extending the membrane's service life. Meanwhile, the system has strict monitoring of flow rate, temperature, and pressure, as well as a cleaning system, ensuring safe and stable operation under various complex operating conditions.

Key Features of MBR:
▲ Effective degradation of major pollutants such as COD, BOD, and ammonia nitrogen, with no secondary pollution;
▲ 100% separation of biological cells; effluent is free of bacteria and solids;
▲ High efficiency integration of reactors, requiring a small footprint; reasonable operating costs;
▲ Low sludge load (F/M), resulting in a small amount of residual sludge;
The denitrification + nitrification process adopted by the MBR system can effectively remove ammonia nitrogen and organic pollutants in leachate wastewater. The removal rate of ammonia nitrogen can reach over 99%, and the removal rate of organic pollutants can exceed 92%. The entire system can operate throughout the year and guarantee stable treatment results.
